SSIP Provides emergency food to South Sacramento needy families and individuals.  Food drop off boxes are available in the Fellowship Hall.

Child Care Available

The Nursery is available for children 0-2 years old and for 3-4 year olds transitioning into preschool. The room is by the Sanctuary and the Narthex (the entry to the Sanctuary). There are two Nursery attendants there between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM

Special bus trip on Fri, June 7.

$46 includes bus and event fee. Bus departs 9 AM, returning at 5 PM.

 The Older Adult Ministry is excited to announce a new exercise class for all ages. Praise Dance is a hybrid of exercise and dance. The choreography emphasizes stretching and breathing as well as some other dance movements, like Zumba.

NOTE: Beginning June 17, an additional class in Chinese will be added from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Katherine Parker, a missionary with UMC stationed in Nepal will be coming to share her experiences. She was here in 2016 and is coming again; she is currently engaged in a project with school and church-based youth and mothers groups in three remote villages in western Nepal. UMW and Mission Committee are co-sponsoring lunch. Please RSVP with Sue Teranishi, Carol Wong, or Emi Alicaya.
