Please clip Boxtops 4 Education when you see them on any products for Bowling Green McCoy Academy. There will be a box for them in the Social Hall on the glass case. Some products that have them are Kleenex, Cheerios, General Mills, Swanson’s, even Haines underwear.

Annual Crab Feed

The 14th Annual SJUMC Crab Feed will be held on February 13, 2016 in the Multicultural Hall. This all you can eat menu will include salad, spaghetti, nigiri, crab, ice cream and drinks. We will also have our world famous raffle sponsored by the Basketball Program and the ever popular paper airplane contest. Adult tickets are $50.00 and children under 10 are $15.00.  Tickets can be purchased after church on Sundays beginning in December until the week before the crab feed.  Tickets can also be purchased  at the office.  If you have questions, contact the church office.

Bowling Green Family Lunch

Come join us for the Bowling Green Family Lunch on Saturday, January 30! Volunteers are needed to help prepare lunch at church, starting at 9:00 am, then servers and greeters arrive at Chacon at 11:45 am. The free lunch is served from 12:00 -1:00 pm to Bowling Green students and their families. Please contact Sue Teranishi if you can help.

South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership (SSIP) Food Closet

SSIP Provides emergency food to South Sacramento needy families and individuals.  Food drop off boxes are available in the Fellowship Hall.
