South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership (SSIP) Food Closet

SSIP Provides emergency food to South Sacramento needy families and individuals.  Food drop off boxes are available in the Fellowship Hall.

Child Care Available

The Nursery is available for children 0-2 years old and for 3-4 year olds transitioning into preschool. The room is by the Sanctuary and the Narthex (the entry to the Sanctuary). There are two Nursery attendants there between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM

 The Older Adult Ministry is excited to announce a new exercise class for all ages. Praise Dance is a hybrid of exercise and dance. The choreography emphasizes stretching and breathing as well as some other dance movements, like Zumba.

NOTE: Beginning June 17, an additional class in Chinese will be added from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Katherine Parker, a missionary with UMC stationed in Nepal will be coming to share her experiences. She was here in 2016 and is coming again; she is currently engaged in a project with school and church-based youth and mothers groups in three remote villages in western Nepal. Please join us in the church courtyard for the Blessing of the Animals Service! Dogs, cats, other pets —small and large, furry and non-furry. All pets must be on a leash or in a pet carrier. If you have a pet, but are unable to bring them or you had a special pet that is no longer with us, you may bring a photo.
