SSIP FOOD CLOSET NEEDS

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Simon Yeh said SSIP still needs more volunteers (65 and younger) to help with distributing food and picking up food from grocery stores. Last month, we served around 2000 households, feeding over 7000 individuals. We cannot accomplish this without volunteers. Sac Food Bank continues to remind us that the numbers will only increase in the coming weeks and months during this COVID19 crisis.

You will be a part of a group of ten people. Your care leader will contact you once a week to check on you! Church Remains Closed

5/30/2020 Update from the Bishop

Bishop Carcano says "After continued work with conference staff and leadership including conversation with pastors and lay leaders, and much prayer, I am asking that the church buildings, the conference center, and district offices of the California-Nevada Conference remain closed through the end of June 2020.  I hope that the following report helps you understand and support my decision."  Church Council created the health and wellness committee to work on the re-opening process for the future.
